What Is Restylane?

How Long Does It Last?

How Long Does It Take to Work?

We use a topical skin anesthetic, which sits on the skin for 30-45 minutes prior to your actual appointment. You’ll not only feel comfortable but the cream decreases the chance of bruising by temporarily constricting blood flow.
How Will I Look After My Treatment?
Most of our patients put their makeup on and go right back to their normal activities.
A rapid result with rarely any down time is the way to go with Restylane cosmetic filler. But it also helps if the treatments are a cinch, too.
Remember, to avoid bruising, avoid aspirin, Execedrin, ibuprofen, Aleve and Advil for one week before your dermal appointment and two days after. Tylenol is fine.
Do I Need to Repeat the Treatment with Restylane?
Yes, all dermal fillers require maintenance, approximately every 4-6 months.
Are There Any Side Effects?
You may have some swelling for 24-72 hours after the injection. Around the injection site, you may experience swelling, redness, pain, itching, discoloration and tenderness. These typically dissipate in 2-10 days.
Over all, side effects are mild, especially when you compare it to plastic surgery!
